A major festival of Miyazaki Jingu Shrine. The regular rite is held on October 26, and the Goshinkosai (divine procession) takes place in Miyazaki city on the first Saturday and Sunday after that rite. It consists of the Goshinko procession and the Shinsa procession, and is known as the largest festival in Miyazaki Prefecture.
Getting there
About 15 minutes on foot from JR Miyazaki Station. Alternatively, get off at the Miyazaki Kotsu bus stop "Jingumae" and it is immediately there.
