The Yokohama Kaiko Kinen Minato Festival is a regular event held every year during Golden Week at Yamashita Park and the surrounding area in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture. It centers on the "Za Yokohama Parade (International Costume Parade)" organized by the International Costume Parade Executive Committee, and in 2026 it will mark its 74th edition. This festival, which began to commemorate the opening of the Port of Yokohama, has been familiar to citizens and visitors for many years. The parade consists of two parts: the "Kids Parade" and the "Super Parade." The Kids Parade departs from in front of Yamashita Park at 10:45, traveling a total of 1.4 km through Silk Center, the Yokohama Customs intersection, Shinko Bridge, and the Red Brick Warehouse to the Bankoku Bridge intersection, and the "Tokyo Disney Resort Special Parade" also participates. The Super Parade, starting at 11:15, proceeds along a 3.4 km course from in front of Yamashita Park to Bankoku Bridge, Bashamichi Shopping Street, and toward Isezakicho, with many marching bands and dance teams participating in a colorful display.
