The Yakumo Dashi Gyoretsu is a summer festival held every July in Yakumo, Hokkaido, and is one of Hokkaido's three great lantern festivals. Organized by the Yakumo Dashi Gyoretsu Executive Committee, the parade of dashi (festival floats) sets out from the Yakumo Town Library parking lot and the Yakumo Town Hall and moves through the town from 19:00. The 32nd edition was held in 2014, and the 42nd is scheduled for 2026, meaning the festival has continued every summer for more than a decade. Highlights include the float procession, as well as internet voting that spectators can take part in, on-demand streaming, sales of goods available only on the day, and food stalls. If it rains, the event dates may be postponed by one day.
