A festival held at Umeomiya Shrine in Sayama, Saitama Prefecture. It is conducted under a toya system with nine toya (host households). February 10 is the yoi-miya (eve) and February 11 is the main festival. It is said to have begun when shirozake (white sake) was brewed and offered at the shrine's founding in 838, the fifth year of Jowa.
