The Tonami Tulip Fair is a flower festival held in spring at Tonami Tulip Park in Tonami, Toyama Prefecture, organized by the city of Tonami and the Tonami Foundation for Flowers, Greenery, and Culture, among others. In 2026, the fair will mark its 75th holding, under the theme "Connecting Feelings: Tonami Flower Story." It is held with the wish to inherit the feelings of the predecessors who have nurtured the fair and to connect the feelings of citizens, those involved, and visitors to the future. At the venue, 3.5 million tulips of 300 varieties bloom, and the large flowerbed ground picture seen from the Tulip Tower and Sky Walk is a highlight. Unique flowerbeds are lined up, including the "Water Flowerbed" first proposed in Tonami, the heart-shaped "I LOVE Flowerbed," the "Color Garden" where 300 varieties gather, and the "Flower Valley" 4 meters high and 30 meters long.

Getting there

The venue is Tonami Tulip Park. There is a free shuttle bus from JR Tonami Station (during the period). About 2,800 parking spaces (paid); when full, a free shuttle bus runs from designated parking lots.
