The Nakashibetsu Winter Festival is a winter festival held in Nakashibetsu, Hokkaido, every year on the second Saturday and Sunday of February. The venue features a large jumbo slide and numerous snow and ice sculptures, and a fireworks display is held on the evening of the first day. A variety of events are held, including snow sculpture making, tug-of-war on ice, and a spicy food eating contest, and visitors can also enjoy stalls from local shops.
