The Kikonai Kanrin Maru Festival is held at Misogi Park in Kikonai Town, Kamiiso District, Hokkaido, and is a summer event themed around the Kanrin Maru, a ship active in the late Edo period that completed a crossing of the Pacific. From 12:00, food stalls line up, and various events keep the area lively until night. The Kanrin Maru ran aground and sank off Cape Saraki in Kikonai Town, and still lies in the sea off Kikonai. This festival is held as an event to enliven the town's summer, themed on this historical connection between the Kanrin Maru and Kikonai. Main events include the Kanrin Maru ceremony and opening ceremony, as well as a concert by the Kikonai Elementary and Junior High School brass band, a dance by the Kikonai Certified Children's Center, and the Yosakoi dance performance "Kikonai Misogi Soran Fire Dance." From the evening onward, there are dance performances, song shows, and impersonation stage shows, and at the end everyone at the venue dances the "Kikonai Bon Dance" to wrap up.

The nearest station is Kikonai Station on the Dounan Isaribi Railway. About 15 minutes on foot from the station. By car, about 5 minutes from Kikonai IC on the Hakodate Shindo. Parking available.
