Arita Ceramic Market, held in Arita Town, Saga Prefecture, is a ceramic festival unique to the home of Arita ware. About 60 shops exhibit at the venue, where visitors can enjoy displays and sales of tableware as well as food. Now in its 122nd edition, this long-running event features exhibits by participating shops as well as special displays such as a table coordination exhibition. Related events and events in each shopping street are also held at the same time, so visitors can experience ceramic culture and enjoy food and vessels not only at the venue but throughout the town.
