The Toyokawa Inari Autumn Grand Festival is held at Toyokawa Inari (Myogonji Temple) in Toyokawa City, Aichi Prefecture, on November 15 and 16, 2025 (Reiwa 7). The Toyokawa City Tourism Association's page describes it as a traditional event, featuring a mikoshi (portable shrine) procession and a chigo parade (children's procession). The festival's highlights include a nationwide antique market, an open-air tent market, a large gathering of Toyokawa inari sushi, and various musical performances, offering plenty of things to see, play, and eat. On the night of the 15th, the Byakko Festival is held, featuring illumination of the temple grounds and lanterns lit at night (from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, no open fires), food stalls, as well as a lavish fashion show and a puzzle-solving activity that involves Toyokawa Inari and the surrounding shopping district.
Getting there
