The Towada City Autumn Festival is held around Sanbongi Odori and the government office district streets in Towada, Aomori Prefecture, from September 5 to 7, 2025 (Reiwa 7). Over three days, the festival features nagashi odori (flowing dance), mikoshi (portable shrine), a parade, and joint runs of yamaboko (festival floats). On the first day, events center on Sanbongi Odori. On the second day, the government office district street hosts float displays, Towada Hayashi music performances, an awards ceremony, and nighttime float runs from dusk. On the final day, floats again parade along Sanbongi Odori, concluding with an autumn festival finale song show at Komakko Plaza. There are also events in which citizens can easily participate, such as taiko, flute, and tebiragane performances, and float pulling and float building.

Getting there

About 30 minutes by Towada Kanko Dentetsu bus from JR Tohoku Shinkansen's Shichinohe-Towada Station, get off at Chuo Koen-mae and walk immediately. Or about 5 minutes by car from the Tohoku Expressway's Towada IC. Use the central parking lot (some restrictions during the event).
