The annual festival held at Shinkoiwa Tensosha Shrine in Katsushika Ward, Tokyo, is conducted by the Shinkoiwa Fifth Neighborhood Association. In Reiwa 5 (2023), it was held on October 7 and 8. On the evening of October 7, the adult mikoshi (portable shrine) procession takes place, and carriers gather at the sake offering site beside the Shinkoiwa Fifth Neighborhood Association Hall. During the daytime on the following day, the 8th, the children's mikoshi and dashi (festival float) parade through the area, and happi coats are available for loan by advance application. Local restaurants handle the registration of carriers, and the festival is run in cooperation with the community. It is a community-rooted festival in which adult and children's mikoshi, along with a dashi, parade through the streets of Shinkoiwa.
