A morning glory market held every year from July 6 to 8 in Taito Ward, Tokyo. Along Kototoi-dori around Iriya Kishimojin (Shingen Temple), many morning glory sellers and street stalls line up, and the area bustles. Morning glories spread in the late Edo period, and after the war the market was revived with the cooperation of the Shitaya Tourism Association and others.
