Seki no Boro-ichi is held every year in December, centered on Honryu-ji Temple in Nerima Ward, Tokyo. This annual event coincides with the Oeshiki ceremony on December 9 at the temple, which is a 3-minute walk from the north exit of Musashi-Seki Station on the Seibu Shinjuku Line, and the area around Sekimachi-Kita 4-chome in Nerima Ward serves as the venue. The highlight is the roughly 200 street stalls lining the temple grounds and the area around the station's north exit, creating a lively bustle. During the event, vehicles are barred from the area around the north exit of Musashi-Seki Station, and pedestrians enjoy the market. Admission is free, and it is a very lively festival.
