A major annual festival held at Ohtsuchi Shrine in Nanao, Ishikawa Prefecture, from May 1 to 5 each year. Three huge yamaboko (festival floats), known as dekayama, are presented from the three towns of Fuchu-machi, Kaji-machi, and Uo-machi. It is registered as a nationally important intangible folk cultural property and as a UNESCO intangible cultural heritage.

Getting there

Held in the central Nanao city area (Ohtsuchi Shrine). The nearest station is JR Nanao Station, about a 15-minute walk away.
