A kiriko festival held in Ushitsu, Noto Town, Ishikawa Prefecture, on the first Friday and Saturday of July each year. As the ritual festival of Yasaka Shrine, it is known for the vigorous "abare" (rampage) of kiriko floats of structurally complex shapes and mikoshi (portable shrines).

Getting there

During the festival, traffic restrictions are in place in central Ushitsu, but several large free parking lots are provided in the surrounding area, so you park your car there and walk through the district where the festival is taking place toward Yasaka Shrine.
