The Natori Summer Festival is a citizens' summer festival held in the Yuriage district of Natori City, Miyagi Prefecture, and has continued since around 1985. It is organized by the Natori Summer Festival Executive Committee and takes place each year around the first Saturday of August, from 15:00 to 21:00. The nearest access is about 10 minutes by car from Mitazono Station on the Sendai Airport Access Line, and about 15 minutes by car from Natori Station on the Tohoku Main Line. Fishing boat parades and fireworks were once characteristic sights, but the Yuriage district suffered devastating damage in the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake, and the festival was canceled that year. From 2012 onward it was held after moving the venue to an elementary school in the city's Mitazono district, and in 2020 and 2021 it was canceled due to the effects of the novel coronavirus infection. The 37th festival in 2022 marked its return to the Yuriage district for the first time in 12 years since the earthquake. On the day, many food and game stalls open, and Yuriage Taiko drumming, events on a specially set-up stage, and shows by famous singers are held. A memorial service and lantern lighting are also held, and fireworks are launched from 19:30 to 20:30. Around the venue, paid parking is available at 1,000 yen per vehicle, and free parking is also provided.

About 10 minutes by car from Mitazono Station on the Sendai Airport Access Line. About 15 minutes by car from Natori Station or Tatekoshi Station on the Tohoku Main Line. Paid parking: 1,000 yen per vehicle. Separate free parking available (as of the 37th festival in 2022).
