Kuse Matsuri is a traditional event held in Maniwa, Okayama Prefecture, where the "Kuse danjiri kenka" takes place. This festival, which has continued since the Edo period, features danjiri (festival floats) violently crashing into each other, and the dynamic movements of the men have become a familiar autumn sight.

Getting there

The nearest station is Kuse Station on the JR Kishin Line. About 15 minutes on foot. By car, about 10 minutes from the Kuse Interchange on the Okayama Expressway. Parking is available near the festival venue.
