A dashi (festival float) festival held every August in Hachioji City, Tokyo, and one of the largest festivals in the city. It takes place over three days, Friday through Sunday, starting on the first Friday of August each year. The rites at Takao Shrine are known as the Upper Festival, and those at Hachimanyagumo Shrine as the Lower Festival.

Getting there

Traffic restrictions apply from the Koshu Kaido Hachioji Station Entrance intersection to the Oiwakecho intersection, and from the National Route 16 Yoka-machi intersection to the Yoka-machi Minami intersection. The bus detour route is Kita-dori. The nearest station is JR Hachioji Station.
