The Hachioji Ichō Festival is held every year in mid-November on the Kōshū Highway in Hachioji City, Tokyo. Against a backdrop of ginkgo trees donated by the Imperial Household Agency in 1927, events include checkpoint orienteering, dancing, and food stalls. It is a citizen-run festival where traditional performing arts and dashi (festival floats) can also be seen.
Getting there
The nearest stations are JR Nishi-Hachioji Station or JR Takao Station. It is about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the venue. There is no parking, so use public transportation.
