A festival held every year from August 27 to 29 at Hashihashi Shrine in Ushinohashi Town, Kaga City, Ishikawa Prefecture. A guzu (dongo) 7 to 8 meters long is made from bamboo and straw, carried around the area near Ushinohashi Station, and then burned, in a prayer for a good harvest.
Getting there
About 7.9 km from Katayamazu IC on the Hokuriku Expressway. From Kaga Onsen Station, take a local train on the IR Ishikawa Line for 3 minutes (one stop toward Kanazawa), then about 650 m from Ushinohashi Station (to Hashihashi Shrine).
